The Lodge
Hosteria Kaiken was built during the sixties as a key-point for shelter and refueling, mid way between Rio Grande and Ushuaia. At only 5 km away from Tolhuin, today Hosteria Kaiken is a great touristic destination because of its incredible sights and scenery, many trekking paths and good spots for salmon fishing.
After being closed for several years , Hosteria Kaiken reopened its doors in 2004 , now as a privately-owned hotel, totally refurbished and with the comfort of a new hotel, thus continuing to be one of the most beautiful and tradicional places in the heart of Tierra del Fuego.
